How To Avoid Exercise Failure
Most people cannot keep up their exercise more than six month, most of the time even less than six months. People ditching their fitness routine could be caused by several reason, the common reason is because they just don’t have the time to do it, or because they are bored following the same exercise everyday, and maybe they feel they do not need to exercise anymore because they feel their body is fit enough.
What you should do before you take make any exercise program is to set your goals, make it a realistic one something that you can keep up. For example if you want to lose some weight, decide how many pounds you want to lose, and how you will lose it. Shedding weight 1 to 2 pounds every week by combining healthy food diet and exercising is a realistic goal and very possible to achieve.
Do your exercise according your current fitness level and as time goes and you have become stronger you can increase the intensity, do not push yourself too hard on your first day. And always remember to keep track on your progress weekly, this is to keep you motivated by seeing your own progress.
When doing your exercise program, make your exercise varied by doing different kind of exercise each day, this to prevent you feeling bored because doing the same exercise. If possible you can also try to change the day and time for your exercise routine to add move variety.
Other than prevent you to feel bored doing the same exercise over and over again everyday, changing your exercise routine could make your body keep on guessing what will happen next. If you doing the same exercise routine over and over again, your body will get accustomed to the exercise. When this happen the development of your muscle will get slower so remember to change your exercise routine every week to prevent your body get accustomed to the exercise.
Last but not least, you should find a friend with the same goal as you to keep you motivated. Having a partner and training together is much better than exercising by yourself, this way you don’t feel alone every time you doing exercise, and now you have friend to share your success and trade training tips or discuss a better way on doing exercise.
So, what you should do to prevent exercise failure is do exercises that is suitable with your current fitness level, keep track of your own performance every week, change your exercise routine every week and find a training partner to keep you motivated.
